Riggs College of Allied Health

A Faith Based Christian Institution of Higher Learning

Classroom

Riggs College of Allied Health is a faith-based Christian institution of higher learning dedicated to academic excellence, professional preparation, ethical leadership, and compassionate service. Guided by Biblical principles and a commitment to truth and integrity, the College prepares students for meaningful careers in nursing and allied health professions while nurturing character, responsibility, and a spirit of service to humanity.

At Riggs College, we believe that education is both an intellectual and spiritual journey. Knowledge must be accompanied by wisdom, ethical responsibility, and compassion. Healthcare professionals serve individuals and communities during some of the most critical moments of life, and therefore the preparation of future healthcare practitioners must include not only technical competence but also integrity, humility, and a commitment to the dignity of every human being.

As a Christian institution, Riggs College affirms the authority of the Holy Scriptures as foundational to its values, educational philosophy, and institutional culture. We believe that every person is created in the image of God and deserves respect, dignity, and compassionate care. This belief guides our commitment to ethical healthcare practice, cultural sensitivity, and service to diverse communities.

Riggs College integrates faith and learning in a manner consistent with the standards of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). Our academic environment encourages intellectual inquiry, professional development, and spiritual reflection. Faculty and administrators are committed to modeling integrity, fostering critical thinking, and guiding students toward lives of professional excellence and service.

The mission of Riggs College of Allied Health is to prepare graduates for entry into vocational and professional nursing and allied health professions through high-quality, adaptiveeducation grounded in evidence-based knowledge, clinical application, and ethical practice. Through rigorous academic programs and hands-on clinical training, students gain the knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary to meet the evolving needs of healthcare systems and communities.

Riggs College values diversity, accountability, lifelong learning, and responsible citizenship. We welcome students from many backgrounds and strive to cultivate a learning environment where mutual respect, collaboration, and service are encouraged. Students are challenged to grow intellectually, professionally, and personally while developing leadership qualities that enable them to serve their communities with compassion and excellence.

The policies, programs, and governance of Riggs College are designed to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and institutional accountability. Our operations align with the regulatory expectations of the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and the accreditation standards of TRACS, while remaining faithful to the College’s Christian mission and identity.

Riggs College of Allied Health remains committed to advancing healthcare education that integrates knowledge, faith, ethical responsibility, and service to humanity.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, faculty, staff, and administration, we welcome students, partners, and community members to join us in the pursuit of excellence in healthcare education, business administration, criminal justice program and compassionate service.
