An associate in science (AS) Degree in Business Administration will prepare students to work in entry level positions within the business administration field and to transition smoothly into a Bachelor of Science (BS) program in Business Administration.
The program is designed to provide students with a foundational academic education in the essentials of the business profession, with knowledge in the key areas of business administration functions. Through online synchronous and asynchronous learning, students will explore the roles of the business professional, business laws, contracts, accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship. The program will also introduce students to important business necessities, such as leadership skills and business technology fundamentals. Students who complete this program will be able to continue to the bachelor’s in science (BS) degree program in Business Administration.

The program is designed to provide students with a foundational academic education in the essentials of the business profession, with knowledge in the key areas of business administration functions. Through online synchronous and asynchronous learning, students will explore the roles of the business professional, business laws, contracts, accounting, finance and entrepreneurship. Students will learn the research methods necessary to study and explore the field while professionally documenting their findings, including business analytics and business data collection and analysis. The program will also introduce students to important business necessities, such as marketing, advertising, strategic planning, human resources, public relations, sales, negotiations, and project management. At the end of the program, students will have a chance to complete a Capstone project, focusing on an area of special interest to them. This program is offered online via asynchronous delivery.
