Riggs College of Allied Health offers our students career services including workshops that tackle topics like how to create a resume, mock job interviews, applying for a job online, and many more. We understand that students will need to acquire these skills in order to effectively transition into the workforce.
RCOAH takes great pride in the academic support that we provide for our students. We tackle difficult matters such as helping them build their confidence. From group tutoring to study groups, these are just some of the ways that our students can find academic assistance should they need it.
A valuable resource for our students is our nursing faculties and clinical affiliations. These help the students explore their current career options and allow them to focus on developing professionally. The goal of this service is to make sure that all of our students are prepared to enter the job market once they have graduated.
Nurse Life at Riggs College
RCOAH firmly believes that nursing is not just a job, it is a way of life. The core of the nursing profession is the compassion, excellence, dedication, and passion that each individual possesses. This belief is what we teach to our students and what our faculty lives by. If you wish to live the nurse life, Riggs College of Allied Health is your partner in reaching your goal.
- Job Listings
To further assist our students, RCOAH provides job placement assistance for those who are enrolled in our different programs. Our career services office will be notified once there is a job opportunity. The job listings will then be posted on the school bulletin board to make sure that our students are updated on the employment opportunities in health care.
Our workshops focus on developing the students’ ability to craft their resumes and helping them prepare for job interviews. We also host employment fairs and other career development activities to ensure that our students are able to smoothly transition into the healthcare field.
